Capt Mike loves the outdoors...especially the water! The salty air and bay breezes are in his blood and have been since childhood!

Mike would rather be fishing than doing anything else in the world, and he loves to share his knowledge and experience with others! In fact, half the thrill of the trip for Mike, is watching others have fun while learning to catch quality trout and redfish. He can ride the shallows and flats for hours....just looking for fish or bait pods for his next adventure. Nothing fills his heart more than seeing a school of trout or redfish, skim off the flats beneath him, as he slowly poles along the bay.

The thrill of the "bite" with these fish is like no other!!

Capt Mike and his wife Mia are both avid in this sport and can be quite competitive with each other. Mike was president of the Bay County Speckled Trout Club for 3 years and won numerous tournaments and lunker pots within this organization. He was even named 2nd place ANGLER OF THE YEAR in 2005!!
In addition to this, he has participated in countless local tournaments and has placed 1st-5th in almost all of them....
